Stormwind Militia Teaser

Introduction
A strong, morning breeze could be felt as Lieutenant Gryphon stood upon the walls watching over the Valley of Heroes. The radiant morning sun reflected brightly in the glistering waters below. The morning bells echo throughout the city, blending with the song of early birds. After spending some time at the Cathedral of Light in contemplation, he needed his mind off things. A soft breeze and the valiant statues that stood within the Valley of Heroes, always brought peace to his mind.

The reflections of the water took hold of his attention, giving free reign to his mind – as his beloved appeared there below. A figure walking gracefully over the waters, smiling as charming and loving as she could. How he missed her.. when last they seen he failed his responsibility to show his love to her.. and now, she’s missing once more.

A sharp voice called him back from his peace: “Lieutenant!”.
Arod turned around and noticed a soldier in Stormwind’s Imperial armour running towards him - A quick exchange of salute followed afterwards. “Speak your mind, Corporal.”, Arod responded. “Lieutenant..”, the soldier breathed heavily, “..The Cult have been massing within Duskwood. Upon our early patrol we stumbled upon some undead and tracked them down to the cemetery.” The soldier straightened himself before his Lieutenant, “They are there, sir.”

Arod’s face turned from peace into concerned and turned back to the waters, hoping to get a glymphs of his beloved once more. The radiant sun glittering upon the waters of Stormwind didn’t seem so divine anymore. “Muster the Infantry, Corporal. We move within the hour..”.
The soldier gave a strong salute, “Yes, sir.”

“Will this ever end?”, Arod wondered as he put on his helmet, gazing one last time towards the waters.
