New curency of Stormwind

Citizens of Stormwind!
The council will replace the old gold, silver and copper coins with new ones.
We like to see your ideas how should be the coins look like and what should be it name.
Write a letter and send it to the Stormwind Council Archives.

Okey. This is a new project. We wanna make a working economy within the kingdom. With GHI money we can pay the guild that are working to the kingdom, collect taxes.... etc.
I need a name for the coin, two pictures on the two side and a motto.

Example:

Name: Northrendin
Head: Xriandra's face
Tail: Burning Orphanage
Motto: "I told you many times. The orphanage attacked first!"

I say the head is Bolvan, in memorian ^^
And the tail is obviously a lionhead for Stormwind.
Motto.. no clue, look up the SW one?

The gold should have the head of the King, I think.
The silver could have Bolvar's, as Feronius said.
No idea about the copper, I don't really think anyone wants to go on a copper coin .

There will be only 1 coin type

You need to have more then one, it's basic economics.

Otherwise you will need to make too many and the economy will collapse.

I have a miner's pick currently 1 copper

I have lets say a cloak worth currently 5 copper

Then i have a some ore from northrend worth 20 gold.

Now according to you

The pick is worth 1 northrendin

The cloak is worth 5 northrendin

The ore is now worth 200,000 northrendin......

It wouldn't work mate, sorry.

I know this. But:
We have "coin 1", "coin 100" and "coin 10000".
A wanna your miner's pick but he only have a "coin 10000". And you don't have 99 "coin 1" and 99 "coin 100". You will need a money exchanger. But RPIng a money exchanger is boring so none will do it and you can't make a deal. So we first do the "coin 1" to see that if the RP community like it and use it or not.

you should run away when someone tries to exchange a huge ammount.

So I guess we will have one currency type, but maybe more different coins. Like a 100 northrendin coin?

That'd be the same as having copper and gold Pilus. Or you would just have stacks

Dont expect a fully functioning ecnomy to ever establish in WoW but I could use this a lot for the company RP!

Serious: I say we get a Shield/Alliance mark on the Head, and a lion on the Tail side. Some "Honorable" motto ought to fit.


Un-serious: Burloks face on the head side, Pilus and his "Bodyguards" on the tail side, ehm and the motto "Head-butt this coin and recieve a special Achivement."

The Name should be changed..
And I'd say..

Pilus gets a coin side
Xariandra/Zeria gets a coin side
The King gets a coin side

I might agree with pilus, but only because he created the addons and not because of any IC reasons.
It should be the king, skyline of stormwind or the lion of stormwind

Lots of good ideas, when are we actually getting round to making these coins?
